If you are preparing for an FRCR exam over the next year (2026-2027), our offering is changing in a way that affects where and how you revise. On Thursday, 1 October 2026, Revise Radiology's FRCR revision resources move to a new platform, one built specifically to make your revision clearer, more focused and easier to work through.

This guide explains what is changing during the transition, what it means for revision you may already have started, and — if you haven't already chosen — which product to choose based on your exam date. If you read only one part of this article, make it the table below: find your exam and your sitting, and it tells you exactly what to use.

What is changing on 1 October?

On Thursday 1 October 2026, we are launching FRCR Mastery courses on a new Revise Radiology platform.

Mastery is our more focused approach to FRCR revision. Rather than working through the largest possible bank of questions, Mastery is built around a smaller, carefully curated set of questions and cases, with deliberate curriculum coverage — so your time goes on the material that actually moves your score, quality checked by faculty.

Much of this Mastery content already exists in our current products, along with other content. What changes on 1 October is where it lives: the content moves onto the new platform, which has been built from the ground up to upgrade and streamline how you revise.

What happens before 1 October?

If your revision starts before 1 October, there is no reason to wait for the new platform.

The Mastery content is already available in the relevant products on our current platform, so you can begin working through it today while we finish building the new platform. From 1 October, the new Mastery courses will run on the new platform, and any new cohorts open there. 

What "automatically moved to the new platform" means for you

For most products in the table below, the move to the new platform is automatic. In practice, that means:

• You do not need to buy anything again.

• You do not need to re-register or set up a new product.

• There is nothing you need to do on the day.

When you log in on or after 1 October, your Mastery content will simply be on the new platform, ready to continue. The one exception — the November 2026 2A cohort — is explained further down. 

Which product is right for me?

Your exam date is the main thing to consider. Find your exam and your sitting in the table below.

If your exam is further away

If your exam is later than the dates covered above, you have not been left out. For each exam, the new Mastery course opens six months before your exam date, directly on the new platform.

That timing is deliberate: six months is the run-in the Mastery courses are designed around, so you get the full structured programme from the point we recommend starting your revision. When your window opens, the course will be waiting for you on the new platform.

One exception: the November 2026 2A cohort

The FRCR 2A Question Bank (November 2026 Cohort) is the only current product that does not move to the new platform. It stays on the current platform right through the November exam.

If you are sitting in November 2026, you are weeks away from your exam and the last thing that helps at that stage is learning your way around a new platform. Keeping this cohort where it is means your revision stays exactly where you left it, with no disruption in the final stretch.

 

FRCR 2B All-Inclusive

FRCR 2B All-Inclusive is now available for every cohort:
FRCR 2B All-Inclusive (January 2027 Cohort) and FRCR 2B All-Inclusive (April 2027 Cohort)

2B All-Inclusive brings together two things in one subscription: a Standard Live Course (with hotseats) and 2B Mastery, running until your exam. It is the most complete way to prepare for the 2B, pairing structured live teaching with the full Mastery programme.

Like the other 2027 cohorts, your All-Inclusive access moves to the new platform automatically when it launches on 1 October.
