Rapid Cases Review Sessions provide structured exposure to a high volume of FRCR 2B-style cases in a supportive learning environment. Sessions are led by experienced faculty with direct experience of the FRCR 2B examination format.
The aim is simple: more cases, better pattern recognition, and stronger exam technique.
Structure
Each session lasts 1 hour.
Session formats include:
- Long Case / Viva-Type Cases – Faculty-led examiner-style discussions focused on diagnostic reasoning, case interpretation, and viva technique.
- Short Cases & Spotters – Faculty-led case review offering extensive exposure to a wide range of cases to strengthen pattern recognition and diagnostic accuracy.
How it works
Every session follows the same structure:
- No "hot seat" – all participants participate together.
- The case or image is displayed on screen by the examiner.
- Participants submit their answers via chat.
- Faculty then provide: - Interpretation of key findings - Step-by-step diagnostic reasoning - Highlight important exam points- Relevant management principles in the UK context
