What is the Revise Radiology Scholarship?
The Revise Radiology Scholarship Program is an exceptional initiative designed to enhance the accessibility and affordability of our premium subscription and course bundles for Radiology trainees worldwide, with a special focus on those hailing from developing nations.
We wholeheartedly invite applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds and varying experience levels, provided they exhibit a steadfast commitment to achieving excellence in their exam revision.
As a scholarship recipient, you will play an integral role in advancing Revise Radiology's educational mission. Each task assigned to you will directly contribute to your own exam preparation and professional growth as a Radiologist. This contribution will not only bolster your CV but also prove valuable for your ARCP (for UK trainees) progression or CESR application. Furthermore, select activities will be eligible for RCR CPD points.

Applying for a scholarship
The process of getting a scholarship takes about 24-72 hours so please apply for this well before you need your subscription to start.
Please read the information in all the steps below to see if you have the capacity, knowledge and capability to fulfil the conditions if the scholarship. Taking a scholarship is rewarding but comes with a commitment to hard work. If you do not have the capacity to work hardon your preparation, then this scholarship programme is probably not suitable for you.

Creating Part 2A SBA questions with explanationsEducational Value of this task
This task is most useful for those sitting the FRCR 2A Examination in the next 9 months and is based on the philosophy that a good way to prepare for the FRCR 2A examination is to create 2A questions in a style similar to the exam.
However this could also be a task you choose if you have passed the FRCR 2A examination and created 2A SBA questions while studying for the exam and would be willing to add these questions to Revise Radiology's SBA database.
This method of preparing for an examination is a good way to contextualise the clinical information you are revising. If you are preparing for the 2B examination, then revisiting the questions you set can help revise for this examinatoin.
Process
This is one of the assignments the candidate could complete (needs to be completed by the deadline for completing tasks shown above),
If you choose to do this method of study, your task as a candidate is to provide a specific number of Part 2A SBA questions that we can use for future candidates.
The number of questions required may vary from one candidate to another depending on the value of the scholarship offered.
The prepared questions are to be handed over to the Revise Radiology team within the timeframe given to each candidate.

Verification
A Consultant Radiologist will go through the questions you’ve written to see if they are up to the 2A standard.
Provide detailed answers to cases (detailed findings, interpretation, diagnosis, DD, Management).Educational Value of this task
This is a chance to see a huge number of FRCR 2B standard cases in the run up to your examination and work them up in a Longs/Vivas format. This will improve your knowledge as well as structure your reporting.
Process
Should the candidate choose this task, the candidate is expected to work on the existing cases in the Revise Radiology database.
The cases are hosted on the Revise Radiology platform in an area that is only available to scholarship candidates. These are cases which will be used in our monthly viva days and study group sessions but you will get access to a lot more cases and this unique area which is not available at the moment to candidates on any of our subscriptions or courses.
The number of cases to be worked on will be set by the numbers agreed to during the application process.

The candidate will be given a timeframe to complete the assignment.

Our clinical team will go through the answers you submit to check if they are suitable.

Focus on your exam revision
This is the period about 3-6 months before the examination and the hope is that you have completed most if not al the Phase 1 scholarship tasks and can now focus on examination preparation.
We will help you with getting a strategy for your preparation and we will hold group sessions for the scholarship candidates to keep you accountable to preparing for the exam. You will also have regular contact sessions with our member success team who will help you personalize your strategy.
This will also be a period during which you can finish off any Phase 1 tasks that are not completed.

Presenting webinarsEducational Value of this task
This gives you an opportunity to consolidate your knowledge and put together presentations on a specific topic, giving you a chance to thoroughly explore the topic in an academic/practical light. This is an opportunity to research, to expand your knowledge and to practice your teaching skills.
Process
Once the candidate clears the Part 2B Exam, The candidate will come on board with Revise Radiology to conduct webinars.
The number of webinars to be presented will be based on the scholarship and the discussion with the Revise Radiology team.
The candidate can select this option while filling out the scholarship application form
Verification
We will collect feedback from the attendees of your webinar.
Being a 2B Viva examiner (for eg on scholarship exam)Educational Value of this task
This gives you an opportunity to consolidate your knowledge and put together presentations on a specific topic, giving you a chance to thoroughly explore the topic in an academic/practical light. This is an opportunity to research, to expand your knowledge and to practice your teaching skills.
Process
Once the candidate clears the Part 2B Exam, The candidate will come on board with Revise Radiology to conduct webinars.
The number of webinars to be presented will be based on the scholarship and the discussion with the Revise Radiology team.
