On-Demand Library

Our Part 1 Physics and FRCR 2B subscriptions include access to a library of recorded webinars, built up over years of live teaching and added to on an ongoing basis. Every session is recorded and made available shortly after it airs — so you can watch at your own pace, revisit topics you found difficult, and fit revision around clinical work.

Part 1 Physics

The Physics library is taught by Joanna Koshy, a physicist with deep expertise in medical imaging who has spent years teaching the FRCR Physics curriculum. Her sessions are known for making a notoriously difficult paper approachable — breaking down complex physics into the kind of clear, structured explanations that actually stick.

The library covers every topic area examined in the Part 1 Physics paper, with multiple sessions per topic including teaching, MCQ practice, and review:

- Computed Tomography — image quality, artefacts, CT systems

- Magnetic Resonance Imaging — fundamentals through to pulse sequences and metal hazards

-** Ultrasound** — transducers, Doppler, B-scanners, and imaging physics

- Radionuclide Imaging — including PET instrumentation, image reconstruction, artefacts, and SPECT

- Radiation Safety — principles, practical aspects, and review

- Radiography & Fluoroscopy — across six sessions with MCQ and review

- Matter and Radiation — six-part series with review session

Highlights:

_MRI Pulse Sequences

Metal-related Hazards in MRI

Understanding CT Dose Measures

Mechanisms of Ultrasound Interactions
