Here's what you can expect on the course:
You will get a total of 12 viva sessions during which you will get to see a wide variety of cases.
On the Standard course, you get 8 hot seats each lasting 15 minutes and followed by 10 minutes of feedback. When you are not on the hot seat, you will be observing other candidates on the hot seat. This is a great opportunity to learn how other candidates present and observe the feedback they receive from examiners.
The viva cases are presented to candidates on the website using Zoom, where the candidates will be able to scroll through the cases in real-time.
The session will run to closely simulate the actual examination experience with 15 minutes of viva presentation followed by 10 minutes of feedback.
The selected set of examiners includes experienced as well as new FRCR examiners. This means that the viva packets they use are of a similar standard to the FRCR examinations.
The viva style tutorials allow participants to challenge their diagnostic and presentation skills.
Candidates have the opportunity to be on the "hot seat," presenting directly to experienced examiners, while others observe and receive valuable feedback.
The viva style tutorials are an opportunity for observers on the course to present cases and receive feedback on their presentation style.
After a certain candidate has presented a case and received feedback as well as a score for the case, the next candidate will present the next case and so on.
This format allows you to observe multiple candidates' presentation style in a group setting while also making use of the Examiners' feedback and teaching around the case.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why does the free extension start from the date of expiry of the previous subscription?
This policy allows us to seamlessly extend your existing subscription instead of starting a new one. It helps to keep your costs down and simplifies the extension process.
Why don't you have this offer for the Standard or Observer Course?
We only offer guarantees for our FRCR 2B Plus/Premium Course because we believe this package provides the most comprehensive preparation and highest chance of success. We cannot guarantee a pass with the other course options, hence the free extension is not available for the Standard or Observer Courses.
How will the eligibility for the free extension be checked?
Revise Radiology maintains records on the website which we will use to check eligibility for the free extension.

Everlight Radiology is a provider of teleradiology services based in London and Australia. Founded by radiologists, the company places a strong emphasis on high standards of reporting and has built an exemplary reputation.
For over a decade, Everlight Radiology has been a lifeline to hospitals, private imaging clinics, and corporate radiology providers across the UK, Australia, and beyond. Established in Australia as Imaging Partners Online in 2006, in response to the increasing demand for round-the-clock outsourced radiology reporting, Everlight entered the UK market in 2010 as Radiology Reporting Online—a partnership with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH).
Having offices on opposite sides of the world was an integral part of our founders’ unique vision—to leverage international time zones and provide 24/7 radiology reporting while ensuring our team of radiologists only ever worked ‘daylight’ hours. This vision has enabled Everlight to grow significantly, with a radiologist team of more than 200 GMC specialist consultants, all with extensive NHS experience, collectively reporting over 650,000 examinations annually for NHS hospitals.
Operating out of offices in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, as well as supporting specialists working remotely from America, Canada, and continental Europe, Everlight maintains an unwavering commitment to quality reporting. All reports undergo rigorous peer review, and our extensive quality assurance systems ensure we consistently exceed accepted benchmarks for accurate reporting.
Recognising the importance of high-quality training in radiology, Everlight Radiology has now partnered with the South West (Bristol) FRCR Course to deliver a combined programme aimed at supporting radiology trainees preparing for the FRCR 2B examinations.
The South West (Bristol) FRCR Course was started in 2008 by Koshy Jacob (then a fourth-year registrar) as a small project to help fund computers and books for the Registrars’ Room at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. Over the past decade, it has steadily grown into one of the most sought-after FRCR courses in the UK, continually evolving based on feedback from delegates and consultants.
From the outset, the course’s aim has been to provide the best FRCR preparation available, offering exceptional value. It was among the first UK courses to be authenticated for examiners’ CPD points and pioneered the use of examiner assessment to ensure the highest quality of case selection and examination technique.
In keeping with our commitment to the radiology community, we have run numerous webinars covering key teaching topics for the FRCR 2B examination. With the combined expertise of Everlight Radiology and the South West FRCR Course, this collaboration is set to elevate training standards further, providing candidates with unparalleled access to experienced examiners, high-quality cases, and expert guidance.
