FRCR Part 1 Physics Online Course – 2025

Dates: 4th–7th February 2025

Format: 4-day online intensive course on Zoom.

Course Structure

  • 4 Days of Teaching – Each day includes 4 sessions (2 hours each)
  • Topics: Matter & Radiation, Radiography & Fluoroscopy, Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Patient Safety, Nuclear Imaging
  • 11 Core Theory Sessions – Comprehensive coverage of the FRCR Physics syllabus
  • 4 Mock Exam Packet Discussions – Focused review of exam-style questions
  • 1 Exam Tips Session – Practical strategies for tackling the Physics paper

All sessions will be recorded and made available for later review.

Mock Exams

  • 4 Mock Exam Packets, each containing 100 stems with 5 True/False questions per stem
  • Candidates are encouraged to complete the mock packets by 27th January 2025
  • Faculty will review and discuss these questions during the course

This course offers structured, high-yield preparation with detailed teaching, realistic mock exams, and expert guidance — giving you everything you need to approach the FRCR Physics exam with confidence.

Physics Core Theory, Mock Exam Review and Exam Tips Sessions

Over 4 days, our live sessions will include comprehensive coverage of the FRCR Physics syllabus in an exam-focused format. We will also have Focused review of the mock exam questions and an Exam Tips Session with practical strategies for tackling the Physics paper


The Core Theory Sessions will include the following topics:

  • Nuclear Imaging
Recordings

All teaching and review sessions will be recorded and made available to participants shortly after each weekend. This means you can revisit key concepts, catch up on any missed sessions, and revise at your own pace — right up to exam day.

Attendance & Certificates

• Attendance will be recorded at the start of each session.

• Attend at least 12 of 16 sessions (75%) and complete your Mock Exam by the start of the course to qualify for a certificate.

UK trainees who meet the requirements and complete the Course Feedback Form will receive an Attendance Certificate.

All other candidates who meet the requirements and submit the Course Feedback Form will receive both an Attendance Certificate and a CPD..

• Certificates will be available on your Revise Radiology Dashboard within 3 weeks after the course.
