FRCR 2B Scholarship Programme
The Revise Radiology scholarship is a contribution-based programme for FRCR 2B candidates who have previously sat the exam. You receive subsidised access to continue your preparation. In return, you run viva sessions for other candidates — because teaching is one of the most effective ways to consolidate what you know.
What's on offer
£150 off your subscription per month, in exchange for running 4 daily viva sessions per month — equivalent to one month of the FRCR 2B Combined subscription
An additional 3-month extension on top of any extension already received under the Pass First Time Guarantee
All viva cases are prepared by the Revise Radiology curriculum team. You are not expected to create content — your role is to run the sessions and provide structured feedback to candidates.
Who can apply
Candidates who have previously sat the FRCR 2B exam
Preferably candidates who passed at least one viva component but failed overall — this demonstrates you understand what a passing answer looks like
Not available to first-time exam takers
What's involved
Each month, you run 4 daily viva sessions. Each session follows a structured format:
You act as the examiner using a pre-prepared case packet from the Revise Radiology curriculum team
Candidates present cases; you ask follow-up questions and provide structured feedback
Sessions are held online via Zoom and are recorded
Commitment is approximately 3–3.5 hours per week
This is structured practice, not informal peer revision. The sessions are designed to replicate the FRCR 2B viva environment — which means running them well is itself excellent preparation for your own resit.
