What is the Bristol FRCR?

The Bristol FRCR 2B Course is an exciting new endeavour that aims to provide invaluable preparation for the FRCR Examination. This three-day course is conducted entirely online, offering a comprehensive simulation of the examination experience. Developed through a collaboration between Revise Radiology and a team of experienced consultants from the UK and Egypt, this course is set to redefine radiology education. The name "Bristol FRCR" pays homage to its origins, having evolved from the renowned South West FRCR Course, formerly known as the Bristol FRCR Course until 2010. Organised by the same dedicated team behind the South West FRCR Course and joined by the organisers of the Cairo FRCR Course, this new venture promises to uphold the high standards of its predecessors. The Bristol FRCR Course was initially established in 2008 by Koshy Jacob, then a fourth-year registrar, as a modest initiative to support the Bristol Royal Infirmary's Registrars Room by funding essential computers and books.
