This course is designed for candidates preparing for the FRCR 2A exam in November 2025. Delivered over a 4-day course, followed by 20 teaching sessions run over the following 3 consecutive weeks, it includes 20 live, interactive hotseat-style teaching sessions that mirror the exam format. These sessions aim to build confidence in answering questions under timed conditions while offering immediate feedback and explanations.

In addition to teaching sessions, you’ll benefit from four full mock examinations to help identify knowledge gaps and fine-tune your exam technique. Expert-led review sessions will follow a similar format to our established 2A teaching, with additional focus on exam strategy and practical tips.

All sessions will be recorded, allowing you to catch up or review material as needed. The course is scheduled to end 2 weeks before the exam, giving you time to consolidate your revision.

Over 3 weekends, our live sessions will cover all 6 FRCR 2A modules in an exam-focused format including focus on tackling management questions. Each session follows a structured hotseat style, where participants are guided through Single Best Answer (SBA) questions under timed conditions, simulating the real exam. Faculty provide live feedback, detailed explanations, and key tips for approaching common pitfalls.

Sessions are designed to be interactive and practical — helping you reinforce your clinical knowledge, improve speed and accuracy, and gain confidence across the full syllabus.

You will get four full-length mock exams designed to replicate the timing, format, and difficulty level of the actual FRCR 2A exam. These are invaluable opportunities to assess your progress, identify areas of weakness, and fine-tune your revision strategy.

All teaching and review sessions will be recorded and made available to participants shortly after each weekend. This means you can revisit key concepts, catch up on any missed sessions, and revise at your own pace — right up to exam day.

Q. Are the Mock Exam Questions similar to the Real Exam?

A: Yes, we are told our 2A questions are very similar to the real exam questions. We have experienced consultants who work with their students and trainees who have sat the 2A exam to create questions for our 2A Questions allowing them to be of a very similar style as the ones for the 2A Examination.

Q. Can I answer the exam packets whenever I want? 

A: Yes, the Exam packets will be available on the 3rd of September, and can be answered at any time before your 2A Exam in November. However, we recommend that the exam questions are answered before the 5th of September as our faculty will review the questions that are commonly answered wrong and address them in a teaching session in September. 

Q. Do I need to take Study Leave to attend the course?

A: Taking study leave for the course is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED so that you can get the best course experience and can guarantee getting the most out of teaching sessions. It is vital you answer the mock exam packets before the 5th and then attend every teaching session we are running on the course so that you can guarantee a Pass on the 2A Examination.

Q. Do I need other answer the whole question packet at once? 

A: Yes, we recommend that you do, in order to get practice of answering all the questions within a set time. You can choose to end the question packet early, but will then have to start again when you re-attempt the packet.

Q. How do I qualify for Pass First Time Guarantee?

A:  You need to complete at least 80% of your LMS tasks to qualify. Tasks must be checked off as completed in the LMS before your exam date. Following this, if you do not pass your exam, and have checked off at leats 80% of your LMS tasks, we will give you a free extension of your subscription equal to your original plan (up to 3 months).
